MXI not visible in MAX

Hello Rich,

There are references to DAQmxScxi1104_Voltage.h, DAQmxPxi6052E_AnalogOutputCH0.h and DAQmxPxi6052E_AnalogOutputCH1.h files. This is where the initialization of the resources needed for the rest of the code to work should be located. Please link these header files so that we can make sure they are making the references properly.

Hello Travis.
I have tried to Create new, “everything”, but can not see anyway to make a DAQmx item/device for the 4070, and a few other devices which appear in the 8176-MAX 3.1.1. I cannot edit or find how the tasks / devices were created. I have seen where there is an option to export the configuration in a text format, but that is not an option in 3.1.1. Also I exported the configuration in 3.1.1, but it locks up 5.4 on the import.  I have sent a couple requests to the team who developed the original code, but am still waiting.

I believe that the header files are currently trying to access MAX tasks that do not exist or have been changed in some way. It might be necessary to re-create these tasks or to alter the header files to reflect the current tasks.

If this is a unique question not related to the PXI system booting up with the MXI kit, it might be a good idea to pose this question as a new thread with all necessary details presented in the first post. This way, you will have better luck with a response from the forum community given their comprehensive understanding of the current issue.

I know the tasks do not exist in MAX. I can not make the tasks because I do not know what they are. The DAQmx tasks that were created in MAX 3.1.1 are not exportable. They are not viewable. The PXI-4070 task is not possible in MAX 5.4,  I am trying to find out how to get the tasks defined in MAX 5.4... I built a simple 6052E named the same as the task in MAX 3.1.1 but the code still failed with the same error, can not initialize.
