Measurement and Automation can't find pxi-6070e in slot 3

I have just moved my PXI-1002, containing a PXI-6070e in slot 3, to a new computer. The new computer is running Vista. I have installed the NI drivers and Measurement and Automation (via NIDAQ880f2). After connecting the chassis and turning on the computer, M&A can see the chassis but says the slot containing the 6070E is empty. Both the Power and Link lights are on (green) on the 6070E. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Walking,

There are a couple of things to check:

• Have you identified the chassis in MAX?  Or does it show up as "Unidentified"?  Since you are using a MXI connection, please identify the chassis as an External PC.
• What version of the "PXI Platform Services" do you have?  If it is below the current version (2.4) please update your driver here.
• Does the module show up if you try it in a different slot?
