Memory Information on Letters of Volatility

I am in the process of writing sanitization procedures for one of our programs, and to do so I must identify any and all memory/data storage devices within the equipment that will be used for this program.  I have already been in contact with NI and received letters of volatility for the following components:

779730-0 PXIe-1065

779730-01 PXI-6682

780031-01 PXIe-8130

780066-01 8264 PCIe Hard Disk Drive

I have the following questions about the contents of these letters that I must clear up in order to meet Federal Government (DSS) documentation requirements:

1. On the 1065, what are the memory types "Microcontroller", "CPLD", and "PLD"?  These are not listed in the DSS table of recognized memory types.

2. On the 6682, what is the "FPGA" memory type?  This is also not listed in the DSS table.  Also, what type of "Flash" and "RAM" does it feature?

3. What type of "Flash" does the 8130 have?

Any feedback you could offer regarding these issues would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

     Will you supply a list of acceptable memory types from the DSS documentation?  This will help us as we match our memory to what the government deems appropriate.
