Multiple etherCAT masters in a single PXI chassis

Is it possible to setup multiple ethercat masters using a single PXI chassis? My thought was to use a real time embedded PXI controller and slot the chassis with multiple PXI-8231's to act as ethercat masters. This is mentioned on the "NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT 2.2" download page but I have not been able to find evidence that this is truly possible.

Yes this is possible when you use a PXI controller.  Attached is a screenshot showing a possible configuration.

Hi Jacob,

Is it possible to do this (multiple master) using CompactRIO? I'm using cRIO-9074 and turning one of the Ethernet ports as an EtherCAT port. The plan is to connect this controller with Beckhoff's controller to share and communicate between controllers.
