NI-SYNC measure Frequency crashes LabVIEW

Hi,

I have reproducible crashes of LabVIEW when I used the NI-SYNC measure frequency vi and do a NI-TClk sync acquisition on two boards with NI-Scope. The crash occurs when I try to close the NI-Sync in my software. LabVIEW simply vanish without any noise, notice or warning :-(.

My System :

PXI 1042Q

PXI8360 (driver 1.0.2f0 on XP)

PXI6552 (NI-SYNC3.1)

PXI5922

PXI5124 (NI-Scope 3.5.2 andNI-TClk 1.7.1)

...

I run into it with LabVIEW 8.6.1 , then tried the software on a similar system (1045 with 8336, 5922,5124,...) with 2009f2 and it runs fine.

So I upgraded to 2009f2 but it still crashes..

I attach a zip of my crashtest

run the vi, setup the devices in the setup-tap and hit one of the two buttons to execute lists of indicated actions. The one including the 6552 measure frequency causes the crashes.

Updated a thrid system to 2009 (1042Q,8336,5922,5122) and no crash 😕

Seems that there is something wrong in the first system, maybe the 8360???    .... any hint what logfiles or NI-Spy settings could put some light on this?

Hi Hendrick,

did you try a clean installation on the first system?
