I have two PXIe-8106 slot 1 controllers running Windows XP. After booting Windows I would like to configure the LAN but when I go to the network wizard it complains that "no networking hardware was found." This occurs on both 8106's so I would assume that I'm doing something wrong. I browsed through the installation manuals and saw no references to the LAN. I also saw nothing in the BIOS. Both units have LAN connections on the front panel.
Why is no networking hardware found?

Are these brand new controllers? Did you format or reimage them recently? It may be that you are missing the peripheral driver for LAN/network.
When you use the Network Setup Wizard, you say that you get an error. Can you post a screenshot of this? I think it could help me understand exactly what you are experiencing.
Cheers!

Tyler,
These are brand new controllers. We figured out the problem last night. It turned out that the 5V AUX supply was bad on the motherboard. We fixed the supply and the LAN became functional!
Thanks,
Gary
