Hello, I have the same problem here.
Can someone tell me (maybe with a screenshot) where to find the device/vendor ID of the 2 ports of the bridge used on MXI-Express? Is it hex or dec?
thanks

Krausalat,
If you're having the same issue with MXI Express (specifically with the NI PXI-8360) then the same solution should work for you. If it's a different version then let me know and we can work that out. Also, adding the keys won't hurt anything even if you don't have MXI Express installed, so there's no harm in trying.
If you want to find the device/vendor ID in Windows XP, open Device Manager. Select view->by connection, then expand a few things. In my case it's "ACPI Multiprocessor PC -> Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System -> PCI bus". That gets you to where there are some bridges. You should expand them until you find some of the boards in your chassis. The bridge above that should be MXI Express.
If you double-click the bridge (or right-click and select "properties"), then select the details tab, you'll see a string in the box. It should say something like "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0341...". The numbers are hex.
Vista is similar. Let me know if that doesn't get you there or if you're still having issues.
