PXI-1033 Controlling with a Laptop Without an ExpressCard Slot (ExpressCard-8360)

I am trying to connect a PXI-1033 chassis to my laptop with ExpressCard-8360 but, my laptop doesn't have a ExpressCard reader slot (34mm card reader slot). How can I control my PXI-1033 chassis with my laptop?

In short, for PXI-1033 you are limited to ExpressCard for laptop-based control, buy a laptop that has an ExpressCard slot or get a PC and a PCIe MXI card.

PXI-1033 is a special chassis with an inbuilt MXI interface. This can work with either a PCI card on a desktop or ExpressCard on the laptop.

The latest option for Laptop based PXI chassis control is PXIe-8301 which can control a PXIe chassis with a system controller slot over thunderbolt 3 interface.

Your 1033 chassis comes with a fixed solution for MXI and does not have a system controller slot to use the 8301.
