PXI-2510 Connection

Hi,

Can someone explain how the connector works and how to connect them with my Failure Insertion Point?

I know, I have to use a DUT pin for that, but what I don't understand is that, why the CH pins are also given.
How should I connect them and what is the use of that?

I want to insert the following faults using this card,
- Short to Battery
- Short to Ground
- Short to Pin

2510 should be inserted in the signal path you're trying to insert a fault.

Signal source -> chx -> dutx -> Signal destination

Connect the source of the signal, example, rpm sensor to terminal ch0, connect terminal dut0 to the ECU.

By default, ch0 is connected to dut0, now, rpm sensor is directly connected to ECU.

When you want to insert a fault,

1. open circuit - disconnect ch0-dut0
2. fault to busA - connect busA-dut0
3. fault to busB - connect busB-dut0

Note: faults to busA and busB could coexist with the connection with ch0 too.

In addition, you can route up to 4 different signals a0-a3 or b0-b3 for busA and busB
