PXI-4462 different trigger

I have a question about the PXI-4462 hardware.  I know that both input pins on the same have to use the same trigger.   Can the input pins use a different trigger then the output pins on the same board?

Hey Eagle01,

Whenever setting up a DAQmx task, you can either make it an input or an output task.  Once this decision is made, you can select to have either an individual channel/pin be used in that task or have multiple channels/pins to be used.  Each individual task can only have one trigger associated with it.  Therefore, if you have selected to have two input channels in a single task, you're right, both channels have to share that trigger.  However, if you have the afore mentioned input task and a seperate output task with two channels, then you can use a seperate trigger or the same trigger since this is a seperate task from your input task.
