Hello there! To reset an Emerson PXI-5600 to its factory settings, you can typically follow these steps:

  1. Locate the configuration or settings menu on the PXI-5600. This is usually accessible through a control panel or on-screen menu.
  2. Look for an option like "Factory Reset" or "Restore Defaults" within the menu. It may be under a "System" or "Settings" category.
  3. Select the option and confirm your decision when prompted. Keep in mind that performing a factory reset will erase any customized configurations or settings you may have made.
  4. Wait for the reset process to complete, which may take a few moments.
  5. Once the reset is done, the PXI-5600 should be restored to its original factory settings.

It's worth noting that performing a factory reset will remove any personalized configurations, so it's a good idea to back up any important data or settings before proceeding. If you encounter any difficulties or need specific instructions for your device, I recommend consulting the user manual or reaching out to Emerson's customer support for further assistance. I hope this helps!

@EmoryLau666, good try copying an answer off Chat-GPT, anyone who has worked with PXIe system will know that there is no 'on-screen menu' as there is no screen with the instrument.
