PXI-6608 measure frequency

I have two stations, which use PXI chassis to measure the product's frequency inside a fixture.

The tricky thing is that, with same product, same fixture, the frequency measurement has a 5k gap or so.

Even if i swap the cable and PXI 6608 card, one of them still have a higher measurement.

Hence, i have a question, for the measurement of PXI-6608, need a reference clock from the chassis ?

They both need to be synchronized, use "one" clock usually from the chassis.
