Dear All,
We have at our plant for real time data aquisition, National Instrument make PXI-8104 embedded controller. We have found that power LED is continuouly blinking instead of steady LED. We have checked all the thing as per manual and found everything in order.
We have also checked the supply loop in the chasis and it is found in order. We have also connected display unit through DVI-D port of the controller. No display is appered on the display unit, even boot screen also.
We have also checked the RAM with our HP Notebook and it is working normal with Notebook. We have also tried its 1 GB Hard-disk with Notebook but after booting the OS was not started may be it is not compitible with Notebook.
So problem cannot be identified by us.
We have also checked the LED status on PCB of the controller, +5 V, VCC,+3.3V, +1.5V having solid green status.
After power On On Controller's PCB we have found the +5 V, VCC,+3.3V, having solid green status? and PC0..PC7 LEDs are also in solid green status with RST PCI having RED LED status. After few seconds PC0..PC7 LED goes off and RST PCI and RST PLT LEDs status become solid RED.
Can anybody give the solution for this problem? ?

Hi,
I would suggest contacting National Instruments Customer services, they will put you in touch with an Applications Engineer who will be able to Help investigate the matter further. It sound like the power supply is at fault.
