PXI-8176 can't upgrade from SP2 to SP3 or SP4 WIN2K (Blue screen)

I have multiple PXI-8176 embedded controls running the following:
WIN2K SP2
TestStand
Labview
When trying to upgrade to SP3 or SP4 I get the following blue screen on the boot right after the install.
*** STOP: 0x00000050 ( 0xEB81C000, 0x00000001, 0x8046214A, 0x00000000 )
The system will boot in safe mode, safe mode with network BUT NOT with safe mode enable VGA so I thought it maybe the video drivers. I have the INTEL 82815, so I download and installed newest drivers with the same result. Then I uninstalled the INTELL 82815 drivers and just used the micrsoft vga with the same results. Just for grins I also updated the BIOS to 1.6 from 1.2 with the same results.
These systems are all run
ning 24x7 on a high volume line. Anyone with any ideas ?????

I had a similar problem using a PXI-1010 with a PC, WINDOWS 2000 and LabVIEW 6.1.
The steps that worked for me are the following:
1)Removed the MXI-3 card and its software from the PC.
2)Installed WINDOWS XP professional.
3)Installed LabVIEW 7.0
4)Reinstalled the MXI-3 card and software.
I hope this will give you some ideas.

Dear Hider,

Magyar brings up a good point. It sounds as if some part of your operating system is corrupt, and a reinstall may be a good idea. For more information on how to restore your operating system, please review the Restoring or Changing the Operating System in a PXI-8171 Series Embedded Controller tutorial at http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/26F082D561C912BB86256D080074AD58?opendocument.
