I just received my forth PXI system in a series of integration. On this one, the fan is VERY loud. Everything works, but I don't understand why it is hard to talk in the room, when the others were barely audible.
Which PXI chassis do you have? Some of our chassis have switch on the back to enable an "Auto" fan speed mode. This will vary the fan speed depending on the device temprature.
