PXI module for analog output voltage and high current?

Hey,

I have a proportioning valve I want to control. Specs state 2.5-7 VDC to open the valves and control span 1-2 VDC with 0.8 Watts typical dissipation. This appears to need 320 - 800mA? All PXI devices I found only output around 20 mA max. Also, it doesn't appear from the valve diagram that it is externally powered.. only one + and on - cable going into the valve.

If you have any suggestions, please post up, or if you can point me into a way to use the voltage from  a PXI module and draw current from another source. Please provide the dummy version if drawing current from another source.

Thanks

That specification doesn't sound very correct. If you can post its specification could be helpful. However, if you really need such AO, here is the list http://sine.ni.com/np/app/main/p/bot/no/ap/mi/lang/en/pg/1/sn/n17:mi,n21:7037,n9:8589/

Thanks for the info. I missed the power supplies section I guess. As for the specs.. that is how they read. I think I misunderstood the voltage span as 1-2 VDC. I think this means that at 2.5VDC + 1-2 VDC or up to 7 VDC + 1-2 VDC span. This would drop the current to the range (320 - 114 mA) depending on voltage. That is my understanding, might be wrong.

Anyways, PXI-4110 seems to be a decent option for now. If anyone else has a cheaper alternative, please let me know.
