PXIe-4330 Remote Sense

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm trying to get the remote sense on the PXIe-4330 to work. I've have a bridge based sensor connected as the manual shows it. I cannot find a property node that enable the remote sense. Does the remote sense automatically work when hooked up or does it need to be configured?

There is no DAQmx property node for the remote sense feature of the 4330.  If you wire it up for remote sense, it will work without specifying in software.

I've got it wired up, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm looking for wiring error on my side but I can't find anything.

The EX supply is 5.0 V at the terminal and the return line 4.8V at the sense at the terminal. It seems to me that the card is no quite functioning properly. Do i need to hook up the shunt?

I figured it out.

The 4330 do not correct the excitation voltage at the bridge. They only correct the output of the sensor by the return voltage of the sense lines.
