Programatically assert PXI RTSI tiggers?

Sorry if this is a stupid question...

Is there a way to programmatically assert a RTSI trigger line in a PXI cage?

I want to debug my DAQ triggered acquisition setup without involving the
hardware that normally generates the trigger.

Thanks,

Bob,

Not a bad question at all! Currently, the only PXI controller that National Instruments offers that supports this feature is the 8146 RT, which only operates under the RT operating system. The PXI-8146 has an external SMB connector that can be mapped to a trigger line in the PXI backplane. The trigger lines that can be asserted are PXI-TRIG4, PXI-TRIG5, and PXI-TRIG6 of the eight (8) PXI Trigger Lines availbale in the PXI backplane (see PXI Specifications for more information about the PXI trigger lines). I hope that this helps!
