RT controller will not return a dir listing with ftp

We are using a PXI-RT8145 controller.  Occassionally there seems to be a problem with the controller where it will not respond to a dir command from the root folder using a ftp connection.  I thought it might be caused from processor starvation from the time critical loop, so I reboot it into NO APP mode.  It still has the same issue with no applicaiton running on it.  It's current state in MAX is connected Running.  It has LabVIEW 8.2.1 and DAQmx 8.5 insatalled on it.  Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what causes it.

Hi,
Is there any error message associated with this behavior? Does the command simply time out?
Moreover, you say this is an "occasional" problem. Might you be able to offer more detail as to actions are taken to reproduce this behavior? Is this with one particular vi or does the occur in other instances?
Cheers,

Like I said it's occasional.  I can only get it to happen once every 6 months or so.  No It appears like it times out, but it never returns an error.  By the way, this is using FTP from the CMD prompt.  If I use the FTP functionality in MAX, it seems to work fine.  Perhaps it's a Windows  bug.

Hi Nate,

Hmmm, once every 6 months.  Because it is so sparatic it is going to be hard to troubleshoot.  Next time it happens, can you post any other symptoms that you can see.  It is possible it is a bug with Windows, but then again it could be a bug with our software.

Also when it happens, try using a different FTP interface (maybe Internet Explorer).  Talk to you in about 6 moths.
