Replace HDD on NI PXI-8104 With Solid State Drive

I have recently had corruption on a 2.5" SATA drive in a NI PXI-8104 Embedded Controller.

As these are fairly old HDD I was looking into Solid State Drives

Has anyone had good experience with Solid State Drives and is there a size limitation?

not sure about size limitation, though an SSD should be working fine on that controller.
