Running VI in RT controller Programatically

i need to run a vi in RT controller programatically from command prompt. how do do it . i want to have the format.

Which command prompt do you mean? A command prompt on the RT system or on your Windows host? Will you have a host application interfacing to the LV RT application? Also please specify which RT controller you are using.

In general there is no command that you can enter at a prompt to start a LV RT application, but we may be able to provide you some suggestions if you can describe your application and what you need to do with respect to starting the application.

I am meaning the Windows System. what i need is download a VI from Windows controller to the RT controller.

I am using the 8176 RT controller.

Hi Suresh T,
There is no way to download a VI to the RealTime target from the Windows command prompt. If you could give more details about your application and why you need to do this we might be able to come up with a work around.

Ben has posted a good suggestion which shows how to download an executable from the command line. Will this work for you or do you need to download a VI?
