Is it possible to send data to an external SCSI HDD in RT Mode? (using PXI-8214 interface)

Hi

i just wanted to know if it's possible to use an external SCSI-HDD with the PXI-8214 Interface on a PXI-System in RT-Mode. I need to save lots of data (>100GB) on this HDD acquired by a RT-App.

Hi,

Sorry, but it's not possible to use SCSI HDD in RT Mode!
The only possibility is, to use a 1394pxi card and a 1394 drive...
(and you need the IEEE-1394 driver for HDDs)

my local NI-Distributer told me neither USB nor Firewire are supported under RT. Have you done that yourself? Would be great if so, cause that would solve some problems i got.
