Hello

I'm having some issues with a new chassis I'm building. PXI-4065 won't be properly recognized in NI MAX.

Current Setup:

Chassis : PXIe-1084

Controller : PXIe-8381

Modules:

PXI-6514 x3

PXI-6515

PXI-2567

PXI-2522

PXIe-2737

PXIe-8431/8

PXIe-8430/8

PXI-4065 - Showing status code -233900

I have tested the module in a working chassis, so the module itself is working properly.

The working chassis is running the same configuration, except the controller used is a PXIe-8360.

So far I have tried the following:

Moving the PXI-4065 module to a different slot.

Fix described here https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019Z82SAE&l=en-NO

Updated the firmware of the chassis and controller.

Complete reinstall

Any further ideas as to what I can do to get this working?

Update:

I moved the PCIe-8382 card to another computer, and this correctly recognizes the PXI-4065 module.

The motherboard in the computer that does not work is of the type HP 88BE, whereas the motherboard in the computer that does work is a HP 8298.

Most likely you will need to follow the steps in the MXI-Express Compatibility and Connectivity Troubleshooting Guide. As you appear to have already suspected, this type of issue is likely a BIOS or PCIe implementation issue with the computer.

Forgot to update the status here.

I found a solution. Disabling fast boot and bios virtualisation in BIOS fixed the issue.
