Switching rate of PXI 2520 Relay

Hi all

My first question is that what is switching rate per channel of PXI 2520 relay? In one second, how many times i can turn ON & OFF (Switching Operations) these relays?

I asked this because NI 9481 is also an SPST Relay like PXI 2520 and in its data sheet its switching rate is given as '1 operation per second'.

My second question is that why NI 9481 has limitations of 1 operation per second even when maximum Relay operate time is only 10 ms?

Thanks

There is no limiting specification for the number of relay operations per second for PXI relay cards.

As long as you provided sufficient settling time for your application, you can go about and keep switching the relays with the overhead of the driver which is going to be in the order of microseconds.
