Tektronix AWG520 library error

Hi there,

The good:
I'm trying to cummunicate with a Tektronix AWG520 device over GPIB. Before I want this to work, I have to install the LabView 7.1 GPIB driver for the AWG device. I downloaded and installed the tkawg5x0_LV71.msi file which I found on the NI site. Now I see the tkawg5x0 VIs listed under device drivers.

The bad:
None of the VIs are runnable, not even the initialize VI. I get the broken arrow, with error messages (in the broken subVIs):
'Call library function node: library not found or failed to load'. The same error message for each library node in each VI.

When I go to the properties of tsuch a library node, I can point to the correct directory where the .dll file is residing. From then on, I get this error:
''Call library function node:  function not found in library'

Rebooting/uninstalling+reinstalling didn't work.

Thanks for your input!

Hello Riemerg,

I downloaded the driver you mentionned and I didn't encounter the problem you have.
1°/ Try to download it again and install it again. If it's not yet done...
2°/ Maybe you can try on an other PC to see if the comportement is the same.
Keep us inform of the result.

The problem is that this PC is a high-end PXI chassis, so it has to work on this one.

Now it's OK, I wrote some VIs in native GPIB calls. If somebody wants them, send a mail to rgrootja@etro.vub.ac.be
Thanks for your time
