The precision measurement temperature with help PXI-4071

I  consider the variant of the measurement temperature with help PXI-4071.

It is required the precision of measurement.

I found into the specification the RTD with accuracy 0.14 and Termistor with accuracy 0.08.

If I will use the termistor. What kind of termistor I have to use ?

If I will use RTD. Pt3851 RTD - is this type of resistance ? Where can I find that resistance ?

May be is the article about using the mode of temperature measument ?

Anybody used that method ?

Thanks for advance!

Hi MaxiMuz,

According with the PXI-4071 specifications, you can use a thermistor in the range of -80 to 150 °C.

The pt stands for platinum and 3851 is the resistance at 0 °C in Ohms.
