So I have a PXI with a 2530. I have looked at most of the documentation for it online, but nothing explains what it does other that "switch". I have an experiment that used compressed air to shoot a steel bolt down a tube, the air it held back by an AC solenoid and a momentary switch. Would it be possible to use the 2530 to trigger a relay would replace the momentary swithch and open the valve valve. The data I am collecting is high frequency so it collects a ton of data points so I would like to cut down the time between clicking run in LV then reaching over to get to the solenoid release.
Thanks

Hello spkirby,
The 2530 can only re-direct signals, it can't generate any. You can easily trigger an external relay by send a signal from a card in you PXI system though. Do you have any other cards capable of output in your system?
