Unable to select RT Target in LabVIEW even though it is detected in NI MAX

I am unable to connect to my RT Target even though it is detected in NI MAX, screenshot below. I am using LabVIEW 2019 32-bit and my PXIe-1071 chassis with PXIe-8880 embedded controller seems to be running LabVIEW Real-Time 16.0 (NI MAX shows OS as NI Real-Time Phar Lap ETS 13.1). I have a PXIe-7976R FPGA card and a 5782 adapter module installed in the chassis and detected in NI MAX. Can you please help understand what's wrong with my setup?

Please expand the software list in the NI MAX.

If the PXI controller has LVRT 16.0 installed, you cannot use LabVIEW 2019. The LabVIEW versions must match on both host and remote target.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Is there any way I can download LabVIEW 2016? Both NIPM and the NI website do not show it available anymore.

Alternatively, is there a way to upgrade the LVRT version on my PXIe controller to 19.0 so that the versions match?

It is better to upgrade the software on your remote target.

Thank you for the suggestion. I upgraded the LVRT software on my target to 19.0. It still refuses to work. I am using LV 19.0 32-bit as recommended on the forum and everything is running on the same versions of software, 19.0. Do you know if there is a list of software needed to make it work that I can compare against?

Instead of trying to connect to the controller directly when creating the project, try selecting the other option of Create new system.

1. Then right-click on the controller and select Properties.
2. Change the IP address. 
3. Right-click on the controller and select Connect
