Upgrading windows 11 on PXIe-8880.

Hello,

I am using a PXIe-8880, and the PXIe's current operating system is Win 10.

Recently, a network engineer encouraged me to upgrade the windows of the PXIe-8880 to Windows 11.

But I'm not sure the PXIe-8880 can work on Windows 11 without any issues.

Could someone advise me about this issue?

It may not be a simple task, as you would have to upgrade all other software as well, LabVIEW, drivers, your custom applications etc.,

Typically, NI sells Windows upgrade kits for controllers, but so far they have not released one for Windows 11.

I also need to upgrade my PXIe-8880 to Windows 11. I am also using a PXIe-5840 transceiver in the chassis. Aside from the pain of having to upgrade all software I am using, are there any hardware concerns with upgrading to Win 11? Anything known to "break" with the upgrade?

I asked the NI support team about this issue, and they told me that the processor (IC chip) in the PXIe-8880 does not support Windows 11. Therefore, I am still using my PXIe-8880 with Windows 10. But I have PXIe-8881 and it supports Wondows 11.
