Can i use a pxi-4072 DMM to measure a pulse width? Using labview8.6.1 i can obtain period and freq information but i am interested in duty cycle. Many thanks, Kenneth

Hi Kenoss,

 

If you are using the PXI-4072 to acquire waveform data, then you could try using the Pulse Measurements.vi to get the duty cycle.

Hi Tony_G, thanks for the tip.  I did try that and also found the Timing and Transition Measurements Xpress VI attached which I settled for.  Both had the same output tho...  Many thanks.  (Dont know how u pasted your picture....)

Glad to hear you've found some functions that may get the measurements you're looking for.

 

 

To add a JPEG, you click on the "insert image" icon and then follow the instructions (I copied the image from the LabVIEW help):
