I am trying to correlate digital in and out on a pxi 6289 with the start of analog input from another card. My understanding is that I can export the start trigger signal from the analog input task to a PXITrigger line and then use this line as an input to a Start Trigger block. I assume that each PXI trigger line is the same on all devices so at the moment I have the start trigger signal output to "/PXISlot2/PXITrigger0" and inputted to the starttrig block as "/PXISlot3/PXITrigger0". When I do this I get error 200452 (something along the lines of that the setting does not apply to the task). Am I approaching this correctly? Do I need to configure the PXITrigger lines differently?
What is the other card that you are using? Can you try running your VI with highlight execution to pinpoint which property node is throwing the error that you've mentioned?
