What's the difference between 1042 and 1042Q?

Are there any other differences between 1042 & 1042Q except the power supply?

Do they have the same backplane pattern?

Can I change 1042's power supply into 1042Q's?

Hi Elia

The main differences, which depend on the power supply, are the ambient temperature range and accoustic emissions. You'll find the exact differences in the PXI-1042/PXI-1042Q user manual.

The user manual says too, that the AC power supply shuttles for the PXI-1042 and PXI-1042Q chassis are not interchangeable.
