cancellation excitation voltage for inductive sensor

 I m using PXI 4496 with inductive sensor (on-off sensor). If i make measurment via analog input instead of triggering channel, is the excitation canceled

Hello Umutozkans,

It sounds to me like you want to be able to turn IEPE excitation on/off on channels.  If this is the case then you can use a DAQmx Channel Property node as shown in these KnowledgeBase articles.

If this isn't what you're looking for could you please give some more details on what you're looking to do.  A data sheet detailing your sensors requirements and a definition of "Canceling Excitation" would be helpful.
