Hi,
Would anyone have any idea why my PCI-6731 cannot be seen by a SCC-68? I'm just trying to configure my SCC and I get the following response: No digitizer is available. Please add a digitizer before configuring your SCC Connector block.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
What software are you running?
Do you have the NI-DAQmx driver installed?
Are you sure you're choosing the right device? Because the PCI-9731 isn't a digitizer.

The SCC-68 is only intended to function with analog input cards. The PCI-6731 is an analog output card. What is your end objective by using an SCC-68 with an AO card?

Hi,
Thanks to both of you for the replies. I have installed NI-DAQmx version 8.8 and LabView (LV) 8.6 and I hoping to use this in conjunction with the SCC-68 to run a galvoscanner system via LV. I haven't any experience with LV but from what I can see I can assign outputs to the terminals of the SCC to drive the galvo motors. However, without recognising the SCC for configuration, I cannot achieve this.
Any help would be great!

The SCC-68 terminal block is designed to add signal conditioning to analog input modules, whereas the PCI-6731 is an analog output module. Do you need signal conditioning for your outputs? If not, you'll need to use a feed-through terminal block such as the SCB-68, which is meant to be used with a wide variety of modules, including analog output modules.
