Error Connecting to 'DigitalInstrument' Mapped to 'VDD' in Digital Pattern Editor with PXI UART Setup

 

Hello NI Community,

I’m trying to run a digital pattern using the Digital Pattern Editor connected to a PXI chassis for UART protocol testing, but I’m encountering an error when attempting to connect or run the pattern. The error message is:

Could not connect to the instrument resource 'DigitalInstrument' which is mapped to system pin 'VDD' in the active pin map file. All resources mapped to system pins are required for a successful connection.

Please check NI MAX if the 657x instrument with the alias 'DigitalInstrument' exists and is not in error state.
