Hi,
I received some recents computers (Dell Precision Wokstation T7500) and I have to install a PXi-1033 Chassis with a PCie Host Card.
I plug the pcie card in a empty pcie slot (x4) and while booting the system halts on this message : "error initializing pci express slot 6"
Using another slot don't change anything.
The bios is A07 version.
I dont know if flashing bios to A08 version could help me.
Anyone can help me ?
Thx
L

Hi,

Can you make sure that you first power on the PXI chassis, then wait for a few seconds, then power up the PC.

This error can appear if the PXI chassis is not powered on first.

If it doesn't work, it might be useful to update the BIOS.

You can also try on another PC to make sure that the issue is not related to the PC.

If none of this troubleshooting steps work, I suggest that you call us for further troubleshooting and/or sending your hardware for repair:
