fetching pretrigger samples only hsdio

Hi,

I have a pxi 6561. I would like to configure this device to do multirecord acquisition into 2d u16 format and fetch out only pre-reference trigger samples. How could I set this up.

I would start to look at one shipped example called "Dynamic Acquisition with Fetch.vi" to see how to do multi record acquisition works. In this example you can change the data type.
Then, I will read the help file for the VI called "niHSDIO Configure Trigger", section Digital Edge Ref Trigger to see that you only need to specify pre-triggered samples.
