how to get bode plot in lab view

Hi all,

I'm just starting with lab view.

We have NI PXI system.

I need frequency responce of a servo motor i.e.  bode plot,

I'm using labview 8 ,we have PXI 7352 motion controller.

I'm very confused as where to start and what is the in put to the motor.

can any one help me?

Hello,

I'm not so sure that using a motion control card is the way to go about finding the frequency response of a servo motor. In order to do this, you would give the motor a varying sinusoidal voltage and then measure the voltage output of a velocity sensor.
