laptops requirements

  Hello

  i hava a 1062Q chassis , 8360 MXI express and PXIe 8360 cards i would like to Know the types and specifiactions of the Lptops that are compatible to my setup for connceting laptop with my chassis there is document What Laptops have been tested with NI express card-MXI for Pxi and Pxie but it only talks about 1033 chassis will all these laptops mentionsed don not work with rest of chassis like 1065,1062Q also plz upload the list of lates Laptops the support mxi express card

Unfortunately, there is not a comprehensive or up-to-date list of compatible computers due to the large number of PCs in today's industry.  National Instruments does work closely with Dell and HP and their computers have been very successful with our products in the past.

You’re right I did miss that part of the question. The card you mention (PXIe-8360) will go into any PXIe chassis that has a free controller slot (the PXIe 1073 has integrated MXI express). The 1062 chassis you mention will accept the PXIe 8360.

Another thing to note about the laptops:  Dell and HP do pretty well with expansion systems, but you can also use software to work around problems with other laptops.
