please help

Hello greetings to all labview gurus , I need your help to get an assignment for extra credit done, how do I simulate the power delay profile on PXI , I mean how to implement the techique called sounding where you send a signal and you see that signal at the receiver  followed by other ones due to the multipath delay .

Frank12244,

First, do not post the same question to multiple threads.  Since you have provided slightly more information here, let's continue in this thread.

Second, an informative Subject will get more useful assistance than a generic plea for help.

Next, either your question is very specific to a narrow field or you have not clearly stated what you are trying to accomplish. When I read the subject line on the other thread, I thought you were asking about the sequence of pwer supply voltages turning on in a chassis. Now you are asking about commuications timing, I think.

PXI is a platform or structure which supports many different kinds of instruments and apparatus.  Please tell us what chassis, controller, and modules you have and specifically what is transmitting and receiving the signals you are bouncing around.

Lynn

Hello Sir, sorry for my mistake of duplicating a post, well the PXI I'm using is a 1042, well my subject was more oriented towards a software that can simulate the excess delay, do you have any hints?

I forgot to explain that the transmitter and the receiver are 2 antennas coneected to the PXI modules which are regular modules

There's no such thing as a regular PXI module.  That's like saying I put my pizza in an appliance.  What kind of appliance?  Oven?  Microwave?  Refrigerator?

So what kind of modules?  What are the model numbers?
