power inhibit switch NI PXIe-1071 2 positions

Hi,

I plugged the AC wire and turn on the power inhibit switch but it doesn't work. I would like to know if there are 2 positions for this switch because i think this switch is broken.

i also tried to turn the SW1 switch. http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/373011d.pdf (page 30) but always the same problem.

I would like to find the problem of this box.

Hi, just want to clarify the steps you've tried.

So you turned the DIP switch from the default "off" position to the "on" position. The behavior you are expecting is that without a controller, you can press the power switch and have the chassis turn on. However, you currently have the switch set to "on", and when you press the power button nothing turns on?

Has the chassis ever worked before? Does it work with a controller and set to normal operation?
