i'm interested in building a system which can recieve FM signals at 600 MHz, recognize the modulated audio signal, perform data processing on the audio signal.
The system shoud also be able to recieve an audio signal from multiple sources (or generate an audio signal vith a sound card), modulate it into FM and transmit it at 600 MHz.
please help me select the correct hardware which will suite my needs.
I don't mind if the platform is PC or PXI.

Hi David,
To receive the 600 MHz FM signal, the best solution would probably be the PXI-5661 Vector Signal Analyzer. You can acquire IQ data with this device and use the LabVIEW Modulation Toolkit to demodulate the signal. On the other side of things, the PXI-5671 Vector Signal Generator can take a baseband signal, modulate it in software with the Modulation Toolkit, and generate the modulated signal at 600 MHz.
I would also highly recommend calling (888) 280-7645 to speak to someone regarding your application and to receive a quotation for any items you are interested in.
Best Regards,
