PXI chassia has a pxi 5661 and a 5600 which is configured as a Spectrum analyser , but fails the application , and fails both reset and self test.

Hi Worldspace,

Thank you for posting on the discussion forums. The 5661 is composed of the 5600+5142. If one of the modules is broke I recommend doing the following to identify what is causing the error.

1) Check if the 5142 is working on its own. ( self test + reset)

2) If you have access to another 5600 try each with the same 5142.

I also recommend the basic troubleshooting steps at the beginning, like trying different slots and installing the latest version of NI-RFSA.

If none of those worked , and then the device needs to be sent for repair.
