Good day to all, how can I generate one single pulse on Labview to later radiate it on PXI withouth using any DAQ command , because there are some samples that do so, I would like the diration of the pulse to be in the us or less

FYI the PXI is the NI PXIe-8133 , the Signal Generation Module is the PXIe-5601 and the TX and RX antennas are connected to the PXI 2596 Module

Hi Frank12244,

What PXI module is generating the signal? The PXIe-5601, is a RF Downconverter used with our PXIe-5663/5663E Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA). The VSA is used for acquiring not generating. Do you have a RF Signal Generator in your PXI chassis? If you’re looking for the drivers for communicating with your PXI modules, go to ni.com/drivers and download the driver for the device. The drivers also come with LabVIEW examples, which you can access through the NI Example Finder.

Hello Sir , thanks so much for your reply, I'm already on track on how to do the stuff I mentioned, now I'm faced with a different problem,  I'm using the  PXI  5611 module for signal generation, however  the activity light is solid red and the error report is: lo hardware has failed. I rebooted the PXI and I dont get that Static Red Led anymore but the activity light doesnt turn on and the error report is always hardware failure, is there anyway to troubleshoot it? will a software update correct the error?

Frank12244,

The NI 5611 IQ Modulator Front Panel page in the NI RF Signal Generators Help document explains what the various LED colors mean. Do you have your RF Vector Signal Generator setup as described in the NI 5673 RF Vector Signal Generators section of the NI RF Vector Signal Generators Getting Started Guide? Were you able to use your NI 5673 in the past and what has changed since the last time you used it?
