Can I upload multiple waveforms to the 5671?

I want to use the memory of the 5671 to the fullest (512MB).  I have three waveforms that are about 125MB each.  I want to upload them to the generator and then in software select which one one to run.

Has any one done this or have any suggestions on how to do it in LabVIEW?

Thanks

Hi Taylor,

I haven't done this, but if you look at the NI-RFSG VI Reference Help (Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> NI-RFSG >> Documentation >> NI RF Signal Generators Help), and

then look at Programming >> VI Reference >> RFSG VIs >> Generation Configuration >> Configure Waveforms >> niRFSG Write Arb Waveform, you'll see that one of the parameters is "name" -- so you can put them in and name them whatever you want (there's a list of reserved words).

Then you can use scripting or programming to choose which one to use.

By the way, make sure you have the latest version of NI-RFSG:  http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/webcategories/86256C220055D6BC86256C24002C4ACF?opendocument&node=...

That'll get you to the latest versions of RF stuff page, if you don't have the latest version (currently 1.2), grab it first.

Thanks!
