NI-5600 Usgae in RF Transceiver

Hi,

For My SDR at one stage i needed to use NI-5600 to downconvert my time domain signal from 2GHz to base band or IF. I wanted to ask how can i pass the waveform of data generated from previous step to my NI-5600 without using to generate anything using  NI-5441. Moreover i also wanted to store the result in the measurment file thereafter.

Thankyou

I'm a little confused about your question. The 5600 is a downconverter that takes your frequency of interest (carrier) and down converts (or upconverts it if needed)it centered at 15MHz. Usually with a bandwidth of 20MHz. This is what comes out of the output port of the 5600... a 5 to 25MHz signal. This is considered IF.

In order to store this signal it must be digitized. In my case I use the associated 5142.

I don't understand where the 5441 Arb comes into play? Do you want to recreate your original signal?

Hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for the intrest and question. what i want to do is to load the samples data from a file in hardisk to be used by NI-5600 which i am not being able to and i dont want the function generator to generate the function for me. My question was in that context, that how do I load my data of the file and onto the PCI SLot memory or NI-5600 Memory or any other way for which i can use it for NI-5600 computation.
Thankyou
