Two question about GPS Toolkit 1.5

I have two questions about GPS Toolkit 1.5:

#1 What is the maximum velocity supported by the toolkit? I found this spec (>514m/s,based on SiRFstar III GPS receiver)in the datasheet page 3,Table 1.Does this mean that if we apply this simulator to SiRFstar III GPS receiver,the maximum velocity we can get is 514 m/s? How about other types of GPS receiver?

#2 What is the maximum altitude suported by the toolkit?

Hi,

1. There is no restriction on the velocity you specify in the GPS Toolkit 1.5. It is restricted by the limits to which your receiver can lock.  Also, if you right away provide a high velocity in the beginning, the receiver take longer time to lock whereas if you gradually accelerate to higher velocity, it is easier for the receiver to lock.
