A basic Question: How can i control my pump real time flow rate using labview 7.1

Is there any way that i can read the pump flow rate using RS 232 port and labview 7.1?

You would need to know the set of commands for your pump as well as the data format for reading. Armed with that knowledge you should start by looking at the serial port examples that ship with LabVIEW. Also, searching the forum on serial port reading and LabVIEW will turn up thousands of posts, as you are not the first person to ask about this.

Gee, I hadn't realized I had ended up in the RT board. I thought I was in the LabVIEW board.
