Hi,
I'm in the middle of trying to develop a ball plate balance system. I will be using PID control but for the moment the vi attached is just running PI. I followed the steps in the video http://www.ni.com/tutorial/12944/en/ when I run the program it looks to run ok but then just hangs no errors reported. Can anyone offer any advice. I'm assuming that there are issues around timing of the simulation environment. I'm sure it will be become quickly apparent my lack of ability with labview but any help or advice would be so much appreciated
The project as an overview consists of a touch screen and two controllers one for the x & y axis. position is read compared to setpoint put through controller and angle write command sent to servo to adjust and repeat until told to stop.
