Automation Explorer does not recognize C series I/O

Why does MAX not recognize my C series devices in the configuration tree? I have NI DAQ 8.7.2 installed. My I/O is NI 9201, NI 9472, NI 9403, NI9421, NI 9481. I am using a cRIO 9072. MAX finds the RIO-not the I/O.

(I have tried using DAQ Ass't but have the same problem.)

Tesla One,

Your C-Series modules won't show up in MAX when they are installed in a CompactRIO chassis.  If the RIO device is showing up it sounds like everything is working properly.

Modules can be configured through the project.  To do so, create a project and add your controller.  Then, either discover modules when adding the controller, or add them after the fact.  Finally, right click on the module in the project tree and select properties.

Let me know if you have any other questions,

Sebastian

Thanx! I finally found some info on the Rio that explained that. There's a lot to love with NI-but somethings are just hard to find...

I really appreciate your fast response ~~~
